If his name has changed to that on the tree, then he may be difficult to trace as the surname is more common...also we do not know where he is living now.

I would wait a while and see if he replies to your message first...give it a week or so, if he does not reply send another incase he missed it

Edit- My only involvement with this site is I try to help where I can...yep I do sleep.....eventually :-D

Well there are no other Nicholas Cairns born Leeds, so it has to be him the membership number is only a couple of years old, so hopefully his email address is still in use

Thanks I saw that so have sent a message, I was on the register years ago through Norcap, but no longer have any reference do you think I will need to re apply ?

If you search the trees on here

Go To Search top right of screen

search all members trees

Put in the name Nicholas Cairns 1968 and you will see someone called Nicholas has him in his tree.....send a message by clicking on Find out more next to his name

It could be the person you are looking for

Yes he was, Cairns was his surname before adoption so is it ok to keep on as i am new to this.

Can I just ask if this person was adopted? If not, you need to remove his birth date to protect his privacy as this is not a secure site.
