I am looking for any relations to John Winn (my father) born 1914, Thomas 1898 Jane Winn 1899 Joseph Winn 1902 Roland Winn 1905 and Albert Winn 1907 all born in Hartlepool. I live abroad but will be visiting the UK in the summer of 2014 so hope to link up with any of my relations. Hopefully somebody will have a conection to them

I am also looking into the Winn family, my father John Winn 1914 came from Co/Durham he had sblings Thomas 1898 Jane 1899 Joseph 1902 Roland 1905 who went to Australia and Albert 1907 I am trying with not much success to trace any family. Are they any connection to your part of the Winn family

Thanks for your reply. I didn't know when Roland and Florence left for Australia, so you have solved that one. My father John Winn did indeed live at Worthing but never knew Albert or Joseph. or that they lived in the same town !!

I am now in a right pickle as I had Thomas Winn married to a Georgina Malone born 1909 and he died in 1976. It seems I could be on the wrong family
