Was Sandra married when she had Michael? Not seeing any Simmon(d)s/Taylor marriages.

Any idea of the stepfather's name or if Keith was older or younger?

Thank you for the suggestion rose, did try Simmond, but not sure of his birthplace. Have since found out that he has a brother called Keith and mother Sandra but didn't have much to do with her. he was also a chef at epsom hospital but don't think I can find out about old employees that worked there or if I could I'm not sure how I can go about it

Few more options if the surname is actually Simmonds.

Did your mother ever glean anything from him about siblings............or even his mother's first name?

Thank you! No my parents didn't marry. My mum seems to think he was born Simmons but changed to Taylor after his stepfather. I've just asked if my aunty knows anymore about him as my mum doesn't have much info. I know he did go on to have another daughter about a year after I was born.

Just to add, there is one possible birth under the Simmons name, but in Leicester - I assume this makes no sense to you?

Nicola, did your parents marry? Also, at what point did he change his name - I am a bit confused about the 2 name thing!
Also think about other info you might have - names of other family members for example, who might be easier to trace.

I'm looking for my dad but don't have a lot of information about him. His name is Michael David Taylor born 1959. He lived in epsom. Had the original surname of Simmons but birth records don't come up with a Michael with this surname. Haven't seen or heard anything for 30 years, don't really know how to go about searching for someone with little information, any advice would be great!
