Find Living Relatives

Am trying to search for David Brett born @ 1958 in Hackney to mum with maiden name Smith..Thinking this might be a relative of mine, is there anyway to check by looking for a marriage cert to see if I can get the full mothers name, if he is the right person his mother would be Mary Brett nee Smith..any ideas please...

Look on FreeBMD for a marriage for the surname combination

However you may have to buy his birth cert to see his parents names

If her first marriage was Doeffer wouldnt she have remarried in that name??
