I am looking for a photograph of Frank Mountcastle b1903 d 1969 who married a Florence Kate Stubbs on 24 December 1942 in Spridlington. Frank Mountcastle was first married to Elizabeth McInnes Prentice and I am married to their child Cynthia Joan Ross nee Mountcastle .
If any descendants of Florence Kate Stubbs have a picture of Frank and Kate I would dearly love to have a copy.

There are quite a few Genes members with Frank Mountcastle born 1903 in Spridlington in their trees.

Florence was c42 when she married so may not have had children .

Florence Kate Stubbs claims she was 35 on her wedding certificate to Frank Mountcastle on 24 December 1942.

People did tend to lie a little on marriage certs to make themselves younger or older depending on the circumstances.

She may have said she was 35 so as not to look older than her husband

Whatever age she claimed to be there's no children listed for them.

She had siblings and so did Frank so check their families to see if they have any photos.

More information on Florence Kate Mountcastle nee Stubbs from 1911 census.
Aged 10 birth year 1901. Named as only Florence Stubbs daughter of William Gilford Stubbs and Kate Stubbs born Wakerley Northants Father here is correct on her marriage lines.

More siblings for Florence...there is also a marriage for a Thomas Stubbs to an Alice Exton in the same area in 1894 so one or two could be theirs??
