I have tried looking for offspring myself by checking birth records from the date they married but haven't had any luck so maybe they didn't have any. I am Alfred's daughter and I just wondered if I had any half siblings - thanks anyway.

If she had then her maiden name would not be Kaye

If you buy the marriage cert, you'll find out her marital 'status'.....plus her age, which would give some idea of whether her having children was likely.

Do you know who registered your father's death?

As it was a comparatively recent happening, the informant may still be at the address at which he/she was living at the time.

Welcome to the boards, Kerrie.

This thread is 8 years old, and Menorcalady isn't likely to be looking here for replies now.

You can send her a private message - click on her user name in green at the top of one of her posts.
If she hasn't changed her email address, GR will notify her of your message , and she may be able and willing to read it and reply.

If she does reply, it will be by an email via GR, so keep a lookout in your spam folder - but don't hold your breath. There are many reasons why someone may not receive / read / reply to a message..
