Searching for Iris Jackson b1934 Leeds or family

Iris's birth parents were Alfred and Hilda Jacobson (nee Wells). She also had an older brother Eric b1932 Leeds. Her parents divorced and her mother Hilda married George Henry Harkness 1939 in Leeds. Iris took her step-fathers Harkness surname and was then married on December 31, 1955 to Colin Jackson in Whitby, Yorkshire. From that time I can find no record of her. Any help in tracing Iris, her brother or any family she may have is appreciated

Do you think Eric might have changed his name also? There is a marriage for an Eric H. Harkness in 1965, though it is in Lincs. I can't see a corresponding birth so it might be him. This couple are on 192.com. for 2002.

I would think it's entirely possible Eric changed his name, as my mother changed mine to Blair when she remarried. I do have Hilda's death in Whitby in 1960 also George Harkness's subsequent marriage to Nina L. Hindle in Fylde, Lancashire in 1962. George also died in Flyde in 1966. Iris, Eric and I share the same natural father Alfred Jacobson b1908 in Leeds.

Infact those people are not who you are looking for ....they married in 1974 in Surrey
