Have you looked for his birth on Scotland's People? There is only one match showing for births (and marriages). To see anything you have to buy credits.
To buy the cert would cost £10 I think.
Have you any idea who registered his death?

If you contact the Registry Office at Bexley, you should be able to purchase a copy of his death certificate, and this will give you the name and address of the informant of his death, which could be a relative.

I'm looking to track my dads family he died 2000 but my mum never let me see my dad or his family and now have my own little family and no longer have contact with my mum im feeling really alone and need to track down my dads side of the family , I've spent a fortune searching and no luck, his name was Neil Eddie Alexander, born 1959 , died 2000' died in bexley kent but I believe grew up dundee Scottlamd and my nan was called Mary , that's all I no :-( please help x
