This lady is a freind of my wifes when she was nurse training, i did not know when she married,we left the uk in 2001,as far as we know she married,

How are you related please?

Its very recent for you not to know the details if you are related

( there is one in 2002) quite a lot later than you suggested

Her husband wasn't born until 1970, so ether she is quite a lot older than him- given that 1980 was an approximation of he time she could have married by- or she isn't yours
