The Living Relatives board came about on the 28th April 2011 and all replies had to be by pm until the 22nd June 2011 when GR changed it so we could reply on the thread

William and Maria were Married in 1935 in South Leith.

William was born in C1904 , going by his age on the marriage certificate, given as age 31.

Maria Agnes Leitch was age 25 at the time of the marriage.Birth C1910

Maria Agnes Leitch died in 1985, in Morningside Edinburgh.

Give me a bit more time on my search for the family.

I didn't realise Reggie was the Policeman of the Boards and he does not know anything about the people looking for the information or why they would like it. If he is not willing to help people like most others on here are then he should not waste his time criticizing.

I am sure I will get a response!!!!

I believe Maria's maiden name was Leach or Leitch.

There are four G. Davidsons listed in the Edinburgh area.

Do you know the Maiden name of Maria ? As I have found Marriages for a number of people named William Davidson at around the time they might have married, Perhaps even her middle name........ if you know that......that would help me.

Given that info I may be able to trace a death and who Registered that, this will then give me a name and address of who the informant was.Perhaps they may still be living at the same address.

Still looking for my Cousins, Ann, Peter and Gilbert Davidson thought to be living in Edinburgh.

Their Parents were William and Maria
William is thought to have been born around 1910 so Ann, Peter and Gilbert could be any age from 60 to 80
