Although Bernard has Facebook it does'nt look active, so will send a current address for his step daughter who could then pass a letter on to him if all else fails

I mentioned what I had done without mentioning names on the other thread, I did'nt mention there were two children on the thread, as there was not much point as I had'nt found anything after marriage for the half sister....but there was enough to go on to find at least one family member

Wendy told me she has now been in contact with her birth mothers sister by telephone and it went well....so far so good :-)

Good team work going on here.

as I said before...messages on facebook do not get notifications from "non friends" so send him a friend request with a message...you have got nothing to loose as both parents are now dec'd

I have given Wendy both names of the children and when born

Not seeing her either after marriage child born to the marriage in 1986 again in cambridge....not seeing him either....well nothing standing out

Go to the search at top of the screen and select "Search all trees"

enter his name in the boxes provided... no need to put year as not many come up.

Click on "find out more " next to the name bernard (tree owner)

send a message (remove automated one first) and change title to perhaps your mother name

When the message box comes up there is a membership number by his name...his most recent one is in the 11 million range

cant seem to follow your suggestions, must be daft, not used to this HELP ,!

If you click on "Find out more" next to his name an automated message comes up with

"Can I vew your tree ect"

it is best to remove that message and compose one of your own

yes you can view anything i have nothing to hide, spent the last 30 years hiding so nothing new there!

I would'nt expect a reply within a couple of days....I hav'nt looked at my emails for a week and I'm on the computer 16 hours a day...if there was an up to date address or anything on facebook I would have mentioned it

He has two Genes accounts send a message to the one with the membership number begining with 11****** as that one is only two or three years old....but remember to remove the can I view your tree message first

In fareness jax, you did give me the information but she wouldn't know that. I've tried to follow the lead you sent but with no success.

I am in the process of PM the info and was then going to delete the marriage info

They appear to have 2 children and .heather is on the electoral roll with one daughter.

Bernard appears to have remarried but isn't showing on the rolls
