	Hi Kim. Welcome to the boards. A quick pointer - 'Lyla' is spelt 'Lila' on marriage indexes. I can see the birth for Michael, but no evidence of a marriage for his parents, or in fact anything at all for Vanslow Lawrence. Have you tried 192.com or Facebook? Jan

Up until 1982 and maybe beyond this his mother lived on Beards Road, Ashford Common, Middlesex. He had a sister called Lyla who married someone with the surname Cooper and had 3 sons. In 1961 he married a lady with the surname Onley, they then had a son called Michael G Lawrence who was born in Ealing later that year. I have other info and would ask anyone who thinks they might know whether or not he is still alive and where I can find him, to please get in touch. This is very important to me and my family. Kim
