I will write to Stanley at the address sent to me by Choccy
It looks like Stanley J was born in Shropshire but married and lived in Bristol so he's a good start
I will let you know in a few weeks if he's the right man

Bristol is not really Shropshire. More like Gloucester.
You could check recruitment area.

West Bromwich and Wolverhampton are all. I think, more like Shropshire.

Yes was just checking that out. Have found a good possibility Stanley J Shakespeare born 1928. Perhaps currently living in Bristol

There are a few, depends how near to 1928 they could have been born.

Do you know when they were last in contact, so if still unmarried at that time we may be able to rule some out.
Also, any indications of a middle name?

I would love to contact Stan Shakespeare who served in the King Shropshire Light Infantry in Korea
My father Brian Hewitt was in K Force Nz army and since he has died I have found numerous photos of Stan and dad in there little bunkers together
I have no details of him at all, he looks to be a similar age to dad who was born in 1928
He may have been from in or around Shropshire to join a Shropshire regiment but that again is a guess anyone have any clever ideas for how to track him down
It would be nice to contact family if he is deceased. Fingers crossed he's not
