Further to my messages mother is now 80 is there any one that can help me find any member of her family alive I would be very happy to give her a photo of any of the family

Do you believe that your Mother's Mother was Edith M Whitehead who married Ermest Ball?

Have you got the birth certificate for Edith M Whitehead.

We need to know that it is the correct Edith before we go looking for living relatives.

If she is the correct Edith we can try and trace Edith's surviving children, or children-in-law and then grandchildren

Do you believe that anyone knows of your Mother's existence, or would it be a complete surprise to them?

Have you tried looking at the ER for 1934/5 for Whiteheads at the address on the cert?

Please confirm whether there was a second forename for the mother on the birth cert...........

Mother now 79 nearly blind was born in Kensington mother on Birth cert was edith Whitehead yes there eas an Edith that did marry an Ernest Ball
I have the certificates But I am still unable to find a living relitave that will give me a photo of Edith

There is a birth for a Valerie M in 1942, Fulham (who does not show in Lesley's tree), and a possible marriage in Fulham in 1958, so rather young.
