No the clue was the surname Cogzell which helped to find her marriage which she used Gina for and the fact that she married not long after your mum was born. It helped then to find Yvonne and to establish we had the right Buckley family.

We had looked for a marriage for her in her full name but not found one so your mums notes in her file helped enormously.

Think there was a son John Buckley born in 1962 .only the cert will tell if its the same family

ok great. my mother knows of two sisters born before her. one in 61 and one in 59 we are very unsure of john unless my mother notes are wrong. i see john was registered a year after amanda so this could be right, as you said jim see her with two kids one being a boy and i correct?

yes im really glad my mums notes did help, it was like one of the missing links. we always thought it could be a marriage name but never thought to check for records under gina. if yvonne has giving you a address for gina i do not if its the right one. have you found her later marriage records to terence allien ? in glamorgan?

Still searching for a georgina buckley or any info. She also has gone under the names gina cogzell gina or georgina allen and then possibably after that a taylor but im not 100per cent on this. Back in 1963 we beleive she was working and living in selley oak workhouse if you were a friend of ginas back then any info you have could really help go towards finding my mothers bio father. also we beleive gina to be living in cardiff now perhaps

Edit - Just checked, her mother has the same name as your mother so she is not connected at all from what I can see and it does'nt look like her mother was born in 1963 either so just an error I would think...
