Find Living Relatives

I'm trying to trace my sister whom I haven't seen or heard from since 1995. She was called Jacqueline Phillips and born in Cardiff, Wales in 1969. Our mother's maiden name was Stoot.

I know she'd lived with friends in London in the early 1990s after both our parents died. She may have been living in the Maidenhead/Bracknell area around the early 90s as she had been studying at University but I'm not 100% sure.

I have no idea where she is now. I wonder if she may have gone back to our home town of Cardiff and possibly she could have got married.

I've really missed her over the years and I'm living in Ipswich with my husband and family which she wouldn't know.

If anyone can help please let me know.

Have you tried using Friends reunited?

It would be wise to delete her actual DOB.............risk of identity theft

Quick tip - you need to remove her birthdate. This is not a secure site and if you don't the thread will be deleted because it breaches confidentiality.
Have you done a quick check to see if other members share the same family? Worth a try, you never know!
Put all names you have - parents, grandparents etc - into 'search all trees', found in search box above to look for matches - if you find any you can contact the tree owner.

Thanks for the advice. I've just deleted her birthdate, silly me.

I've tried Friends Reunited and Facebook and various other Internet searches over the years but never got anywhere. It's more difficult as the chances are she may have married and therefore changed her name over the years and may not even be in Cardiff or even the UK.

What about contacting the university? They usually have alumni contact lists.
