This appears to be the same but you say Jeanette's name was Hudson.

Sorry, my inter-net went down, and I was getting confused.
Your grandmother, Jeanette, was born in 1951, and gave birth to your mother in 1968, when unmarried. Did she marry before your uncles were born? In Westmorland? Were they adopted?
But if your Mother was adopted, then how did you meet your grandmother 20 years ago? Or were they re-united?
I am obviously still confused.

lol sorry patchem,
its very confusing to me 2...i do believe there was a re-union,yes.my uncles were there when i was younger so i dont think they were adopted.im sure she was married but like i say i was only about 4 or 5 so i could of been persuming...the was a guy i called 'grandad lorry' i know he wasnt my mothers birth father but im not sure if he was married to my grandma or not?my mother said that her birth mother was living in new houghton, mansfield some years ago but like i say,my mothers word dont mean a lot.hope this clears things a bit, lol, very confusing stuff this
thanks

HI Tammy - someone has obviously taken objection to your opening post.

As no one who has replied on it previously has mentioned that you have invaded your birth family's privacy by putting too many details, or putting your email address, it could be because you already have a thread. As THAT one does not go into details of names, I can't see how it could be considered a duplicate which is against the guidelines for the site.

There are some members who take delight at being self appointed censors with out giving the 'offending' poster a chance to amend their post. They are known to the community as 'Board Police'

Hopefully GR will see sense and re-instate the opening post.

There is enough info in your subsequent replies to make a start in trying to help you - try and answer questions as they occur to the best of your ability. Good luck
;-)

thanks detective,
my previous post has been answered so i persumed i had to open another thread?to say its supposed to be a helpful site (which it is) there are a lot of people waiting to jump on you or ruin your experience on here.as i said before,i am new on this site so i dont know how to go about things properly which is what i thought these threads were for.
nevermind, and if you could find anything out for me detective that would be amazing please.
thank you for all your help x

Patchem seems to be on the case - she and others are excellent with this type of LR search- and your reply 21 Mar 2013 09:06 gives about as much as you know.
:-)

Edit - some people might say that it would have been better to have stayed with original thread, but on that one you were only talking generalities.

thank you detective...it was a general question which got answered.thanks for understanding :)
