Hi
I'm looking to re unite the above family members.
I'm looking for members of the Shelton family also Hall family and also trying to locate the Tarling family who were last known living in Norfolk? If anyone has any info please give me a shout?
Regards
Phil Shelton

Phil, might be more effective to look for people with these names in their tree - you can find 'search all trees' in search box above. Jan

I advised Phil on his other thread to contact the other GR member who has his (Phil's) father in his GR tree.
The advice was not apparently seen

Phil, As Penny said, 10 years or 100 years? Please could you be more specific? (bt online gives 9 Tarling families living in Norfolk.) Thank-you

I can't see a marriage for Julie though there is one for Suzanne. However, if you check 192.com there is a Julie M. Tarling showing for Norfolk (this middle initial is correct, having looked for her birth and parents' marriage).. To see further details you have to buy credits. Jan

Phil
How much research have you done yourself?
Have you looked in the phone book?
And please post only one thread per topic....as per site guidelines

Phil. You need to start with what you know.
Be clear and give as much info as you can, and be as specific as you can. Tell us what you know and how you are related to these particular Tarling's-
Without sounding pernickerty, can you read back what you post and make sure it makes sense

Dear all
It seems I have under estimated how this post thing works and have been jumped on for not putting enough details for people to search. Well let me be the first to apologize to all who have tried to help I was not sure that anyone would even read it. I have been asked to put in detail what I am trying to find so here goes with what I know
My surname is Shelton I am researching my family name and the relatives that came before me. My farther was called Reginald William Shelton He was the youngest son and was born in 1933 In Leytonestone registered in Essex
His farther was called Frank (B1899c) married to May (Maiden name Hewitt) He had various brothers and sisters Gladys (Married William Higgins) Jean married a man called Derek Morton Ivy who had a twin brother Charlie( Ivy married a man called Steward and moved to Leeds Charlie moved to Chigwell at some point and married a lady called Hilda) William (never married) Merci (Married a man called Bert) Edward(Teddy) Herbert ( Married a lady called Joan who is still alive but very ill) Ronnie(Married Daphne) I think there was another brother but not sure My grandfather And Grandmother on my dads side died when he was young Gran dad Frank came from Sheffield and was the son of a Black smith(we think) They lived through the war in Essex Leyton Leytonestone area I am looking for both sides of the family for my grandparents
Glady had a daughter called Shirley Tarling who married An Irish man called Patrick (Pat) Tarling and had two daughters Julie Tarling and Suzzane Tarling Shirley Married An Irish man called Patrick (Pat) Tarling and had two daughters Julie Tarling and Suzzane Tarling After uncle Will died they moved to Possibly Stallham in Norfolk Where they lived till Shirley died in the 90s The reason I want to contact the two daughters is we were real close when I was a child and I would like to trace them again, I have tried Facebook and Twitter but cant find there accounts and I don't know if they married. My Mothers name is Violet Shelton (Maiden name Hall) Her mother was also called May she had been married before to a man called William Waters Her maiden name was Meads She had a son to her first marriage called Noel Her first husband died She then re married to Walter Hall In Wakefield My mother and farther both married in Wakefied and lived there till he died in the eighty's I have a few details on my tree but I have gone off the rails from my Grand parents Back on my dads side as all his brothers have died so only have a few details which are correct
Please contact me to look at my tree for further details I hope this has made things easier.
People have posted details on here already which i am finding a little confusing to follow so please have a look at what is already posted. I am checking over again all posts and thanks for all your input.
