I am trying to trace a living relative - Kathleen Bates born 1928. A dear relative is trying to contact her who she dearly wished to keep. Please help me find her before it is too late |

Kathleen Bates was born in Derby according to Christine's tree. |

She was born in Derby but went to Huddersfield. She married in Derby in the late 1940s to Maurice Milner and then remarried around 1954 to John Beckett. I have no further trace on her although we were told (by Frank) that she was living about 4 years ago. As she is now 85 (if alive) time is running out for a reunion. I don't know if she changed her name after marrying John Beckett but believe that she may have moved back to Derby. Unfortunateley Frank will is not responding to contacts. |

I see you have the children in your tree. Some of them also have memberships on here. Have you tried contacting them? Go to Search, then Search All Trees at the top. |

As you have the children in your GR tree, you must be in direct touch with them |

Sadly we have no contact with them - my husband was adopted. the documentation shows that his mother (Kathleen) sent maintenance to keep him for four years until the authorities decided to take him away. It states that she visited him and wanted 'him home'. After all that heartbreak it would be nice if she met him at least once before she passed. |
