There is also a Richard Holmes died in 1984 31yo Mother Unknown. He died at Clifton Hill Victoria. Not sure if this is the same one you saw, but it's not Adelaide. |

Hi Guys, thanks for all of your help. This is the one I looked at. I do feel that it is him. I wonder what his story was. The family I spoke to said he hadn't married so I do not expect to find any relatives - amazing really after all these years that I was able to complete the circle. |

It may be well worth ordering the certificate - you just never know what you might find. If there is any kind of a contact (ie friend who gave the information of the deceased) just let us know, you never know, we may be able to track them down to find out the story. Michaelle |

Thanks gain, it is nice to know. Funny feeling just came over me! You suddenly felt really close although your in Australia, and as if you were both on a mission for me! Amazing haven't a clue who you are but felt a bond/connection! Probably something a lot of us feel along the way when doing this research stuff. |

Glad to help. Hoping the favour will be returned by someone else to me one day (I'm desperate for help with some Polish phone book lookups). But more than that it was such a special story, I would/will gladly help in anyway I could. There are just so many adopted people out there who can't find their special someone, doesn't matter so much if the outcome is sad like yours or happy with a reunion outcome. It's the knowing who they are/were and what happened to them that's important. Funnily enough I soooo want him to have had a child you can contact, but doesn't sound like you think he will have.
