Find Living Relatives

Hi,
I bought a family bible at an auction about 20 years ago with the hope of finding the family it belonged to.

I had no luck, but now with the wonders of the internet I am trying again.

Please do you have any suggestions how I might go about finding the family if a member has built a family tree on this site? The family names are Cocker and Cox and they were married in Deven.

If you are trying to find the relatives, then you attract people by having the details in your tree.
This is what I would do, so that they can find me even if they have not entered their details on here.
As Emanuel J Cocker died in 1939 he is not living, so not against terms and conditions.
He has been added to Helen's tree within the last 14 days, so presumably because of the research done here.

Thanks for that Patchem - I didn't know this would be a way of trying to make contact with another familys' members - makes sense though
