Yes I have researched him and have quite a lot of information but have reached a dead end. He was born in Newton Leeds in 1896 to a Sarah and Walter White. He died in the Great War on 17.12.1917 from serious wounds and is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery in Pas de Calais France. He was in the West Yorks Regiment which became the Prince of Wales Own. He is also named on the Leeds Roll of Honour 1914-1918. |
