I met Cathy in Dublin circa 1950 and would like to know how life has treated her. Cathy had a brother called David.

Donal, I can't help with Irish/Scottish research personally, but I suggest you check other members' tree for Shepston's born Glasgow or Uddingston - there are several who match. (use 'search all trees' from search box above).
It's possible there might be a connection with Catherine's family as the name isn't too common - I think! There seems to be a variation of Shepstone which comes up automatically. You might as well try contacting the tree owners, easy enough to do.
