My mother's uncle, Charles Kenneth Alexander Palmer, born about 1890, emigrated to Canada with his parents in 1902. Charles served in the Canadian army in Europe in WW1. The family give addresses in Huntsville and Parry Sound in Ontario. Charles married, Kitty Eileen Blay in Godalming during the war, but that marriage only seemed to last about 6 months. Charles returned to Canada in 1919 where he was described as a farmer. |
