I'm looking at Eliza Ann Thompson born in Bruton, Somerset for a friend (so not related myself). I feel I am on the correct lines with Henry Victor Thompson (my friend's father) born to Eliza Ann Thompson (d/o Henry and Harriet Thompson). Henry was living with his Grandmother (Harriet) in 1901 census, and Eliza has gone to Surrey to work as a servant. I also feel certain that it is this Eliza who marries Moses John Ayling and has children Elsie, Leslie and Timothy before the 1911 census. I think Leslie married an Esther Elizabeth Simpson in 1932, and Timothy married a Lena May Peters in 1936. My friend would love to find later generations of this family so please contact me if you know of any children. |

You say you think there are family connections through BMDS you have found but the best way to confirm is to buy some certs. Your friend will have to pay out I,m afraid if they want an accurate tree compiled |

If you had all the info, why did you ask for help? |

Sorry -- but I wasn't asking for help on finding those regs you have above (although must admit I hadn't found any for children of the Ayling sons so will look for those). |
