Australia is divided into 7 different states each of which keeps its own records. Restrictions on access to the records can vary between each states records. |

thank you both for your suggestions. I thnk the deaths may have been after 1985. I do have last known addresses in Queensland and did write randomly to houses in these streets some years ago without sucess I have also recently written a open letter to the nearest Post Ofiice that I could find. Are there no websites such as this in Australia ?? Thanks again |

Hi Sheila ...the 'QLD State Library' ....on-line ...has an 'Ask a Librarian' service.... they will check electoral rolls past & present ..and also newspaper death notices. |
