Hope it's OK to post this here. Catharine brown, married to Arthur Hughes abt 1825,her parents were Richard Brown and Mary Campbell. I'm looking for Richard and Mary's marriage with no luck. Would assume they married about 1800 ish. Catharine was born 1805. Thanks PS if the name Arthur Hughes means anything to anyone I would love to hear from you. I've been been looking for him for years _he's my gtgtgt grandfather |

Hi the sandford is my great grandmother Catherine Crowley killed at Sydney place's maiden name, I knew that there was another death the same time as Catherine but didn't know the name ,all we knew was that she saved her son Patrick's life as she laid over him and I can remember as a child meeting him in edge hill,they used to call him paddy, the family didn't speak about the war etc and my mum is73 and she only remembers little things,so it is becoming frustrated now ,thank you for your help |

hi reggie, i know that irene was a cowley as she was my grandmother ,i also know all about her family uptil my greatgreat grabdmother annie ohahr who is buired in a paupers grave in yew tree cemetery, the inquest on the campbells for which i have the papers shows her statement and its is marion campbell she was a rag sorter this si the sister i believe survived and she was burnt what happened to her i cant find out. i have as you put it done my home work but for some reason the trails just falls off living up in scotland i find it hard to get any more info once again thank you for all your help |

The Joseph Campbell fireman was my grand farther my mum was 2 when he was killed at the evacuation of Crete, he married my nan Irene Crowley, her mother Catherine Stanford died when a bomb hit there house in Sydney place ,her mother my great gt grandmother was honor/ Annie Ohara she came over from Ireland and died 1950 ish at the age of 96 and she was in the care of the over bury nuns not sure we're the convent was in Liverpool, my grandfather Joseph who died in the war it is parents James and Annie that I can find no trace of,also his younger sisters Annie who died Marion survived and his young brother Patrick also died at the house fire, thank you so much for your help. |
