Just a long shot - there is a Dorothy J. Moffatt marriage in 1964, in Cumberland. I can't see a corresponding birth. Might be worth checking out in case she was adopted by the Moffatts?? But a really long shot I have to say!

Thanks everyone, new to this.Eva was my Grandads sister, She died unfortunately at childbirth and we think? Dorothy may have been looked after by other family members but not sure, she could even have been adopted I suppose which is why I cannot trace her anywhere other than at birth. I know her father (now deceased himself )remarried and has two sons by his second wife, but they also do not know what became of her sadly.

If the above is the same Henry, there was a son to the marriage. Check Freebmd for his name.
