The Adoption Dept of Camden Social Services will be able to trace your sister's File quite easily just using the info you have |

It's the birth under Westminster! Although she was adopted through Camden, there is no first name. It turns out my father had a copy of the birth cert! I will be contacting Camden to see what they say.. |

I can't see a Baby or Girl Jones birth anywhere 1985 or even 2 years either side. So I assume there is a first name? |

Your best option might be to register on the National Adoption Register as suggested by Reggie. |

Rose have you looked under mmn for the birth - even if the father had attended the registration the birth would have been put under the mother's name as well. |

It is possible to search for births using surname and mother's maiden name. If these are not too common you might be able to pin it down. |

I've just found out after 27 years that I have a full sister who was given up for adoption at birth. I know her dob and some other small bits of info but no name. She was born to Irish parents in jan 1985 and adopted through Camden adoption team. :-( :-( |
