Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find any living descendant of June Avenell (maiden name) who was born in c1926 Victoria, Australia and died c2005. Her parents were George Avenell and Sylvia Ruth Harrison (both deceased). June also has 2 siblings Shirley (Potter) (deceased) and a brother (still living).

I know nothing about her husband or his name, other than he may have been of Austrian/Germanic origin.

It has been difficult to trace my cousin due to the privacy laws in place here in Australia. Even Trove has not been of any assistance in this quest.

Are you in contact with Warren who has her born 1924 in his tree?

Or does the brother who is still living not know who she married?

Yes have been in contact with him and he knows less than I do in relation to this lady and her family. I have even quizzed her brother but he seems not to be interested in the family history of either past or present so have come to a complete dead end.

Yes that is what I found too, she would have been about 23 yo at the time and still living at home with her parents (my great uncle & aunt). I came to a dead end after this. My next step will be to put a piece in the Melbourne "Herald Sun" in the Desperately Seeking section of the paper and hope that someone reads it.

On what is presumably your page on My Heritage, the date is given as Oct 2007, died Geelong, Victoria, Australia

Ooopsss, I must have put her sisters death date against her name as her sister died in 2007 just 6 weeks after my father died. Yes I am sure of June's dod as being 2005. Thank you for pointing that out to me. I will have to go back and fix that up. I don't know where she died or what her married name was, so as you can see I am at a dead end.
