Have you looked to see who on here have Fowler's from Yeovil in their trees - quite a few.

Have you looked at old electoral rolls to see who she was living with in 1938?

Was she Welsh?

Births Jun 1918 (>99%)
Fowler Evelyn M Rees Pontypridd 11a 1007

That one wouldn't have been on the ER in 1938!

And, if the scenario is as one would suppose, she would hardly be likely to have registered to vote at the Yeovil address

BUT....there are numerous births on freebmd for the name........

Ronwen Prosser, I,amtrying to find EVELYN MAY FOWLER known to be in YEOVIL SOMS.in 1938.any little info would be appriecated. many thanks Ronwen.

I know she was too young to vote but the address from Ronwen's birth cert. could be checked to see who was residing there.

We don't, as yet, know when - or where - this woman was born.......do we? Her age would not be recorded on the birth cert

Ronwen doesn't return to her threads to answer the questions posed

The fact that Evelyn gave birth in Yeovil doesn't mean that anyone related to her lived/lives there
