On the 1915 marriage record Arthur is a serving soldier, and his deceased 'father' was also said to have been a soldier.

No-one named Johnson witnessed the marriage

Have you made any attempt to locate his birth on freebmd?

Have you used the same site to look for births from the marriage to Barber.....(note the correct spelling)

One sure thing, though............he isn't living now.

all i have ever WANTED WAS TO GET DETAILS ABOUT ARTHUR HE WAS MY FATHER HE GOT MARRIED IN OKEHAMPTON IN 1933 BUT APPARENTLY HE WAS STILL MARRIED IO FLORENCE BEATRICE BARBAR FOUND THIS THISW WEEK I HAVE GOT NEWSPAPER CLPPING OF WHEN HE WENT TO COURT FOR BIGAMY HE NAMED HIS FATHER AS HARRY BUT CANNOT FIND HIS MOTHER THANK YOU FR ANY HELP MARGARET
