Yes you are right all these companies need money for searching for even the smallest details. I will register with norcap they have a telephone number which i shall ring for a form as i dont want to do that one online.

192 isn't a tracing service.................all the site does is give info from phone books and electoral registers.

www.192 isnt a tracing service or a BMD look up site . It offers access to electoral roll addresses and on some free results a tel nos too. You pay to view the hidden info.

Not sure why you thought you needed the cert...........if you're his mother, you should know all the details

i am his mother thanks and i do know all the details but i have noticed that some agencies will require it and as the saying goes sooner than later :-P

his marriage might be online , but i only went on this site to see if i could trace by grandfathers relitaves on my dads side of the family i couldnt find any certificates for him i have only just found out my grandads name as my brother found my dads birth certificate. :-\

i have just heard from the agency peter was adopted from saying they do have his records , asking if i would like to meet but due to unforseen circumstances in my family i will have to put them on hold for a while
