Seeking relations Precious/Yeo/Salter

I was adopted by a married couple called Salter. I was born in 1955 in Weymouth. My documented birth surname is Precious. My mother's maiden name was Yeo. I am not sure that Mr Precious was my father. I probably have two brothers but do not know their names. I am totally new to searching. I am not even sure I am posting in the right place |
