Trying to find my cousin, Graham Powell. His mum was Dorothy and dad was Ron. Would be about 55 years old and came from the Wordsley, West Midlands area. Long time no see ... about 50 years. Heather, formerly Churchill. |

Look in 'search all trees' under the 'search' button for possible links on GR |

I can see a birth for a Graham J Powell in 1955 in Dudley, but cannot see a marriage to match the surnames given. |

Am trying to contact the Graham Powell born 1955 on GR but think this is a bit to early - seem to think he was born closer to 1960. I have a birthdate of 4th May but not which year. They were living in Wordsley at the time of his birth. |

That helps a lot as your previous info. led us to believe we were looking for a Graham born in Dudley district with a father called Ron. Looks like he was actually Edward. |

IF this was Graham's mother, and he registered her death, you'll have an address for him |

Yep, I know she was quite old when she had Graham. Bit of a surprise I think. Don't understand the Edward Robert bit, maybe he just liked to be called Ron? |

Is this Dorothy's birth? |

This looks more probable, in view of your comments...and the qtr of registration of her birth |

Yep, that sounds more like her. Thanks Reggie very much! |

Still unsure about the 1990 death being his father...........I'll see if there's anything which looks more promising |

Yes, jackpot. That looks very much like it was my uncle Ron. Very many thanks, I'll see if I can take it from here. Have been looking up Graham C Powell on the telephone directory system. Again, many thanks Reggie. |
