:-)thanks i had found newsome,and this is a mistake,and have ordered a birth certificate to confirm.the death records are correct,as i have a copy of the death certificate.the rest i will have to check when i recieve the birth certificate a to his parents...Thanks very much,any further info,or contact from the descendents would be appreciated.mick |

my father alfred frederick newton,born 29thdecember,1920 in glasgow,registered in the district of KELVIN.father robert newton,my father was killed in a car crash in 1960,He had a few brothers,have had no contact with the newton family since 1960 after he died.Would be interested in any information.He also served in ww2 as a chief petty officer in the royal navy,and was one of the first in the uk to be able to arc weld.After the war he became a rep for oerlikon welding,where he stayed at the companies to train the new to welding employees.HELP PLEASE |
