I am searching to find out what has happened to Helen as she was my wife from 1970 - 1977. Unfortunately there has been no response on emails, via GR & her FR page has gone, as well as her Facebook page in 2011 (I think!).

She remarried in 1978 (Norwich district) and her name now is Bond, but I don't think he's around anymore. Last heard of in India (from 2002), semi-retired and working as a part-time consultant in local hospitals (I don't know what area) providing complimentary therapies.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

BMDS only go up to 2006 online(FMP) so if she has passed away since then you would have to apply at the local recgister office for a cert..

When were you last in contact with her? Does she have children you could contact?

Thanks for all your replies, Shirley & Rose & help.

1) She doesn't have any children - or at least she said so on her FR page (but she does have an Indian godchild). (She always implied she couldn't have children)

2) I'm concerned that she may have passed on (in India!), thus my request for help.

3) Her birth does come up on GR - I searched there first as I coudn't remember her birth month, just the day! Typical male!

I can see a visit to India on the agenda, but it's such a vast country.

Yes, , your ex-wife might have sadly passed away anywhere in the world, but she might also still be alive. Do you think she would like her details put on Genes Reunited then 'Googled' for all the world to see? It does not sound as if you had any kind of relationship with her at all after your divorce if you could only track her down and gain information about her by visiting different websites? 1977 is a very long time ago and for all we know, she might have been trying to avoid you?
