WOW! Thank you for pointing that out Reggie. I hadn't given that a thought, and have just realised that this page comes up in Google searches. I've been through and tidied my comments up. |

The Land Registry only holds records of properties which have changed hands since its inception |

After the marriage of Christopher A Fox in 1968 I can find two children in the London/Herts area. There don't appear to be any other children. |

Mum said that his parents were Irish, but I don't hink she recalls him having an Irish accent. I'll check this with her. |

I cant see a marriage that could fit the time frame so wonder if that may have been in Ireland too |

Just realised that the Electorol Roll says he lived in Potters Bar until 1978, so moved just before the leasehold and freehold that the Land Registry have started in 1979. |

I've searched the Electoral Roll for him in High St. Potters Bar, which bought up this full address and his middle initial. I think he was the owner of the property and had a lodger, but the land registry have said that the deeds they have only go back to 1979. I'll search the archives in Potters Bar to see if they have anything earlier. |

If he wasnt the owner of the premises then the Land Registry wont help. |

I'm trying to find a Christopher A Fox who lived at 96a High Street, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN65AT between 1972 and 1978. Think he was born Aug/September between 1938 - 1942 and that his parents were Irish. I don't know what the middle initial 'A' stands for. |
