Do you mean you want to know who his parents were? If so, I advise getting the marriage cert which (should) have his father's name on it plus Harold's age, names of witnesses and an address for him. It's such a common name you need every scrap of info you can get hold of. |

Waterbeach is not far from the Cambridge/Lincolnshire border and there is a Harold R Smith in Lincolnshire on 192, age guide 55 - 59, but you need to pay for more details. There is no guarantee that it is your man. |
