Find Living Relatives

Recently found out I had a great aunt called Joyce (sister to my grandfather Stanley Kennedy). She married james smith and had two children, Susan and Bruce. Joyce died in the Birkenhead area in 1973 and family may still be around that area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Steph, I can see Bruce's birth June quarter 1952. He has no middle initial.
Now, I am a bit in 2 minds as to whether to put this, but not sure what else to do, so:

It might not be him, but a heck of a co-incidence if not. If you get the cert the info about the informant should help, assuming he is your relative obviously.

I have his year of birth as 1952 so sure would be a coincidence! That's such a shame! May I ask where you got that information?

Yes, it's very sad isn't it.
I got it from Ancestry. Freebmd might have his birth, but they only go up to mid-50's or so.
I can't see a marriage, but hang on a bit!

EDIT No obvious marriage for him.

Oh right, do you have to be a member on ancestry? Anything on Susan? Seems it would be a very common name. She was born 1957.

I can see her birth, also no middle initial. I looked for a marriage, assuming Birkenhead, when she would have been aged 18-38. There are 4 which fir, and she might have married elsewhere, or not at all. One spouse name is Jones!!
With that name I think it is night on impossible, so for what it's worth, if it were me I would get Bruce's death cert. It is a pretty unusual name so what are the odds there are more than one born the same time and linked to Birkenhead?
It will have addresses for both Bruce and name & address for the informant. Don't dismiss death certs, they can be the most useful of tools - I found my long-lost 2nd cousins this way!
