In 1940 Ruth Francis was born in Yorkshire married Victor J Darbon 1958
b. 1944 Ivy Samuel - married in 1972 (o'neil)
b 1944 Joyce Samuel maried in 1962 husband Edgar Beard they had four
children Beverlely b.1962

Robert b.1967
Andrew b.1970

Lillian known as Diane Samuel married in 1956 to Herbet S Bayley.

Would like more information to help build up the family tree. Can anyone help?

Thank you for support I have now got the birth certificate of
William Thomas Francis and his parents are named as Alfred Francis
and Mercy (nee Owen) and now.

The marriage also confirmed Alfred and Mercy in 1900

I have since found two Aunties last year so it filled in some gaps for the
family tree. Thank you for all the people who helped me in the search looking
for my dad's family.
I have found Aunt Ruth and Joyce so now I am told that Aunt Ivy Rosina Francis
lives in Leeds in Yorkshire. She was born in Brentford and lived in Acton in London
for a while. Born July1944. If anybody knows her location in Leeds I would be most thankful.
Also looking for Leonard H. Francis who lives in Bromley in Kent, I am not sure of the address. He was born in September in 1936 in Brentford. His wife Rita died some years ago.
Peter Francis born in 1939 Brentford and Harry Francis born 1937 both lived in
Acton, I would like to know where they are now. Can anybody help me find my
dad's siblings. My father is the oldest of all the siblings born in 1930 (William David Francis).

Have you looked for these relations on 192.com and bt online etc?

Do you believe that your Aunt Ivy never married - so is still surname Francis?

Thank you for reply to my enquires regarding the Francis family.

I do know now that Ivy Francis is single and lives in Leeds near
Yorkshire. I have tried 192. com for her but two names came up
so I am working on a possibility of one address. Leonard the
same I found an address but no number.

Peter and Harry Francis is most difficult because they have no
middle name so again I will have to speak to Aunt Joyce or Ruth
who also lost touch with them.

Month and year should be sufficient as it is preferable not to infringe on a living persons privacy on an open board.

Looking for a marriage of Margaret Samuel born 1928 in Ealing and then went on to get married in 1949 her husband was called Stanley Stennings. I cannot find any marriage record as I believe they got married in America. Before she met Stanley she had a daughter called Joan Francis born in Isleworth in 1944. Joan francis married in 1964 maybe ealing her surname changed to Howe or Howes.
Joan had a daughter called Wendy born about 1966 in Ealing.
I would appreciate any information in finding these relatives
Margaret shortly after she was born a Samuel she was given the Francis name when her mother Catherine Samuel married in 1929.

There's no one named Stanley Stennings on Ancestry so I suspect the surname is incorrect. Did Margaret return to the UK or stay in the US?

I have since been working on more leads from the Francis family and found that Lilian Diane Francis had used the name Dian Mary and remarried to Cyril John Wyatt in Ealing 1978. Cyril and Dian lived in South Acton, she died in 1996. I know Cyril was born in 1910 and he had a daughter called Pearl. I am now trying to establish if Cyril had any siblings and the year he died.
Dian or Lilian who first husband was called Herbert Bailey they had a son called David Bailey and I think he was born in 1954/55 and eventually was put into care - Dr Barnardos home at the age of four. I do know he was married to Anita for a short period and now I am trying to get in touch with him. If anyone one can help with any leading support that would be great.
