As a nice English person, who is willing to help out even a Scot (heh heh) I have had a nosy around this place on google map street view (very pleasant!). It looks tiny. I found the bridge but alas no shop now as far as I can see. As it is a small place, I bet someone knows something. |

I am trying to get in touch with my niece Joan Hamilton. I believe she lives in Crossford, Lanarkshire. She married an englishman, probably a youthful indiscretion, but I don't know her married name. Her dad, my oldest brother John and his wife Meg, owned the corner store by the bridge to the Braidwood rd (?). |
