I think you need to track down her family if you are going to pursue this. Someone might know something, often happens in families, which will offer a clue. |

Presumably the child would have been born as a Miles, MMN Miles. |

I have no information where this child was born or a name given, although I am trying to narrow down some areas. I also have no information where my mother was born for definite, she told me Ancoats, Manchester, and that she was adopted by the Miles family. From the little my mum told me I think (but not totally sure) they were extended family. |

The mother should know where she gave birth.Then get in touch with norcap and as Reggie says Adoption contact register.If you know area we could narrow it down quite a bit |

I am looking for a child given up for adoption in the late 1950s, I think it was a boy. His birth mother would have been PATRICIA MILES. |
