I would be grateful for any news regarding my only paternal cousin, John Bennett Mace, born 1927 in Reading, parents Guy and Daisy Eleanor Mace (nee Bennett) Many thanks for any information.

When were you last in contact, where, and was he married etc?

There is a possible marriage in Reading in 1952.

But then there is a possible marriage of the 'bride' in 1965 Reading.

Did Guy die in 1977? John might be the informant on the death cert.

Many thanks for your replies. Unfortunately John dropped off the scene many years ago sometime after WW2. My husband, children and I did find their home in Buckinghamshire in 1974 or so and the children enquired where my aunt's grave was (cemetery nearby). The person who spoke to them asked if their mother was called Eileen and shut the door. So, no, sadly no contact.

Do you know the Tracey who has him on her family tree ?

Trying to find my cousin John Mace born c.1925, lived in Caversham, Reading, until joining Army and serving in India in WW2. Later lived in Ickford, Aylesbury.
