As thebirth was during wartime it's possible that her mother was evacuated, as many pregnant women were or that she was in the forces/on war work away from her home. In either case, the child could have been born anywhere so son't rule out any possibilities. |

Just had a email off place that processes birth certificates. They have no birth certificate for the Madeline T Watson born in 1947 in Northumberland :( |
