This is a long short, but I am looking for an Edward Pritchard born in Chelmsford, Essex, mother Dorothy married to Edward Pritchard KIA off Heartlepool December 1940. Dorothy came from West Thurrock. Edward's parents were James and Clara Pritchard (James was my Great Uncle) and I am decended from his brother William, who was KIA Gallipoli 1915. |

I've had a look in "search trees" for you but it seems you are the only person on Genes with Edward born 1941 in your tree. |

I see Dorothy was Dorothy E. Guest. If Edward died young, maybe she re-married: |

If you wish to pursue the Dorothy line, I am making a calculated guess this is her birth - it seems Thurrock was created 1939, Orsett being one of the places which comprised it. Might be worth looking in 'search trees': |

Thanks everyone, yes I knew all about Uncle Edward KIA in 1940 and done a lot of research on him. It seems to me that Edward (cousin) and my Dad would have an awful lot in common, as both lost Fathers and a very young age, both mothers re-married, oh yes Dorothy re-married. |
