Find Living Relatives

Hello, I am trying to trace my stepsister Pauline North, parents Stanley and Alice (nee Morris), born in Warrington in 1940. I have no further information and am not sure what to do next. Any help or advice gratefully received. Thanks for reading this.

Thanks for replies. I have never been in contact with Pauline, I only found out yesterday that my father, Stanley North, may have been married before and had a family! I had a quick look at the records and the marriage/birth info seemed to fit (I assume Alice JM and Alice JH are the same person?) Date of death for Stanley is correct, but I can't find any further records for Alice and Pauline. My father remarried in 1953, to my mother. I have had a look at matches and records on Genes Reunited but that's as far as I've got.

Oh! I've just found a passenger list for Alice North and Pauline North going from Southampton to the USA in 1946! Please can I ask how I can confirm that these two people are my relations, would marriage and birth certificates do this? and also what can I do next to trace them in the USA? Thanks ever so much.
