Mary,

If he does come looking he will probably search for his birth mother's name. If you are able, you should add that to your post.

As many new members will have joined since my original post, I am hoping there is someone out there who can help me.
I am trying to trace my sister's child Paul Hedley, born November 1959, who was adopted around 1960. He was born in Kingston upon Thames and although I have asked Surrey County Council, they say there are no records of his adoption. My mother went there with my sister so I know he was adopted at 6 weeks.
I have information about his father and siblings which at the moment, no-one else knows and I know his father's name was not put on his birth certificate.
Does anyone know him or any of his family? Please help if you can. I do not necessarily need to meet him, if he does not wish that, but I could write to him with the info.
