I wonder if anyone can help?? I am trying to find Ruth Smith (awful name to research I know!) We used to play together when we were children and she used to visit her grandparents (Nellie and Sid), who lived in the same street as I did. Her grandmother was my fathers Auntie on his paternal side. This is the information I have. Ruths mother was VERA HALL (1929-1973) and her father was KEITH SMITH (1938-2000) Ruth was born in the mid 1960's in the Essex area (from information my dad can remember) Now, the only record I can find for that time, is a Marion Ruth Smith, born 1966 in Saffron Walden, with the birth mothers maiden name of Hall (which would be right. I would love to be able to trace her and find out how her life has been. If any more info needed please ask and I will find out what i can |

Have you looked to see if anyone has her or her family on their tree on here? |

Keith Owen Smith married in Northamptonshire in 1962. Are you sure it was Vera's first marriage? She would have been 33. |

If you get Keith's death cert. she might be the informant. Might also list her married name and address. |

Hi rose, as far as my dad aware, Vera's marriage to Keith was her only marriage. I think I will have to get his death cert to see if Ruth was the informant. Thankyou for your help and replies. |
