This may sound silly but have you tried looking him up in the telephone directory or electoral register (www.192.com)?

The reason I ask is because I note that there have been at least 3 marriages of a man of that name in the Stoke area since what I believe was your mothers remarriage in 1975. He may still live in the area.

Hi, anyone out there connectedwith the name Heaton-Frederick John Heaton, my Dad who I have not seen since I was very small-I would like to find him, I have lots of questions and I am now forty five years old and not in the best of health, it would be good to have some sort of contact with him-even at this late stage!
My family are from Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Silverdale-all around that area.
He had a Daughter and a son-myself John Frederick. My sister died over ten years ago aged only thirty and my Mum died eight months later, aged just forty nine.
Thanks for reading this, very grateful for any information, little or lots!!
;-)
